Bob Vernon Memorial

Bob Vernon was a wonderful human, he was heavily involved in junior rugby league throughout his life, coaching at Norths in Brisbane.

Bob's passion was also for greyhounds, he always had a few racing greyhounds, and was also an active member of the greyhound industry being part of the QGOBTA, and the Capalaba club. It’s a great way of remembering Bob in his memory, for his love of his greyhounds, and his love for everyone. His son Arthur now has taken over from Bob, and is largely involved in Rugby League also, he has just been give Life Membership of the Qld Rugby League, and does so many wonderful things for our neighbours in the South Pacific regions, gathering Jerseys, Boots, even old Mobile phones to help those less fortunate than us.
